Two signatures, one settlement.
A deal on Pactum is a single Solana transaction: the tokens go from the seller to the buyer, the SOL from the buyer to the seller, with no desk fee. Both wallets sign the same bytes. Either all of it lands, or none of it does.
- 1Paste the mint
Never pick a coin by its name. The desk reads the mint from the chain, shows its fingerprint and checks for a real pump.fun curve.
- 2Set size and price
The live chart price is right there, with your discount or premium and what the same size would do to the chart.
- 3Sign the terms
A plain text message: coin, amount, price, your max chart move, who may take it, the end time. Signing it moves nothing.
- 4Approve within a minute
When a buyer signs, you see the request with the live chart. One click signs the same transaction, and the desk sends it.
- 1Pick an offer
On the board, or through a private link a seller sent you. Check the mint and its fingerprint.
- 2Request it
The desk builds the settlement transaction and simulates it. Your browser checks every instruction against the seller's signed terms.
- 3Sign
Only if the check passed does Phantom open. Phantom shows what you sign and what changes in your wallet.
- 4Settled
The seller approves, and the tokens and the SOL change sides in the same instant. If the seller does not, nothing moves.
Every offer, against the real chart.
For each coin the desk reads its pump.fun bonding curve from the chain, or its PumpSwap pool once it has left the curve. From those reserves it shows the chart price, the offer's discount or premium to it, and what would have happened on the chart instead: selling a bag of size t into reserves of B tokens and Q SOL pays t·Q / (B + t) and leaves the price lower by 1 − (B / (B + t))².
Those are the numbers before trading fees, and every page says so.
About a minute, enforced by the network.
The desk builds each transaction with a fresh recent blockhash. The network refuses it once that blockhash is about 150 blocks old. So the taker signs first, and the maker approves inside that window, or the signature simply dies.
We chose this over a durable nonce on purpose: a durable-nonce transaction stays valid until someone advances the nonce, which hands the last signer a free option on the price and would need a key on our server. Here, no key, and nothing stale to sit on. The full reasoning.
What $PACTUM changes.
Holding 1,000,000 $PACTUM or more makes you a holder. Offers of 10 SOL and up reach holders 10 minutes before the public board, and holders can follow coins and get push alerts for their new offers and big deals. There is no desk fee for anyone. More.
Questions
Can the desk take my tokens or my SOL?
No. The desk holds no keys and no funds. Every deal is one transaction that needs both wallets' signatures, and your browser checks it before your wallet opens.
Do I need SOL to sell?
No. The buyer pays the network fee and, if needed, the rent for their own new token account. The seller only signs.
What if the other side never approves?
Nothing moves. The transaction carries a fresh blockhash, so the network refuses it after about a minute, and the offer goes back on the board.
Which coins can be traded?
pump.fun coins, on their bonding curve or after they move to their PumpSwap pool, on the classic token program or Token-2022. Coins with transfer fees, transfer hooks, permanent delegates or unknown extensions are refused.
What does it cost?
No desk fee. The seller receives the full price in SOL. The buyer pays that price, the network fee and, if needed, the rent for their own new token account. Nothing else.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Tap Connect on your phone and the site opens inside Phantom's own browser, where you can sign.
Can a deal be undone?
No. Once the transaction is confirmed on chain it is final, like any transfer.
